New Preview Of Greg Land’s Iron Man #1 Art Shows Same Old Lightboxing

We’re still under threat of Hurricane Sandy here at the Crisis On Infinite Midlives Home Office. However, I’d like to take this opportunity to pass along a new page of preview art by light box hack penciller Greg Land from Iron Man #1.

Where on earth could Greg Land have received such stellar inspiration? After the jump!

This is not that still, but you get the point.

It would appear that the role of Tony Stark will be cribbed from stills of that ubiquitous ugly guy that somehow seems to get work in pornos, probably because, despite of his gorky, greasy mug, his mutant power is never needing the services of a fluffer. Meanwhile the role of the chick Tony may or may not be banging is an overused still of Pamela Anderson that Land uses because, I dunno, it’s a day or something.

If you can get past the crap art to the actual story, Iron Man #1 will be written by Kieron Gillen, fresh off the beautifully moving, heart rending end of Journey Into Mystery. Look for Iron Man #1 and all the mind numbing phoned in art you can stand in stores this November.
